1) Admit you are powerless to change yourself, that you need Someone to help you.

 

2) Get real with Jesus. Talk to Him like He is right there with you, because He is. Pour out your heart to the only one who has the ability to transform your life. Believe that because He loved you so much, He died on the cross for you, that He took the punishment for your sin, and that He rose from the dead. Ask Him to forgive your sins personally and to transform your life. Invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. Thank Him for the great sacrifice He made for you.  Tell someone what you have just done. 3) Read the Transformation Manual...the Bible. It is a love letter and instruction book to you from your Heavenly Father.

 

Begin in the New Testament Book of John.

Then, toward the end of the Bible, read 1John.

 

4) Get connected to a good Spirit-filled church where you can receive prayer for your needs and the healing of your broken heart. Then ask God what He wants you to do for Him, since He has done so much for you.

 

5) Get filled with “transforming power,” the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8

 

6) Encourage someone you know and love to be transformed by God’s extravagant love also.
